The ODB Distillery story began in 1658 when Raucher & Co. was established in the city of Leiden in the Netherlands. The distillery's origin is traced to a family of wine merchants and a master distiller specializing in genever, gin and later whisky. In 1710, the distillery was renamed, and today it continues as the Onder de Boompjes (ODB) Distillery using the same traditional methods that have been passed down through the centuries.
